Moira has 18 years experience in providing personal and administrative support to businesses and individuals.   She worked as administrator and secretary in both Universities in Sheffield.  She also spent four years as a professional temp: “Moving to new clients regularly, I had to learn new software, new procedures and lots of new names and faces very quickly.”

“I loved taking on new work at short notice.  I look back fondly on my temping, because the agencies had a Can Do attitude, offering me challenging assignments that stretched me. I learned such a lot in short time and loved moving from job to job staying for either a few days or many months, depending on the needs of the client.  This has set the seeds of self employment since I now can hit the ground running when working with a new client and start supporting them very quickly.”

With 25 years experience in the accountancy profession, Deborah Bradley has worked as a Client Manager at Balance Accountants since 2002. Since returning from maternity leave in 2009 Deborah found it difficult to get involved with networking groups as they usually offered meetings that clashed with new family commitments."Our philosophy at Balance is to form good, enjoyable relationships with our clients and to help them realise the full potential that their accounting records hold. I'm looking forward to bringing this philosophy to the Mum's The Boss meetings"

 Sarah Chapman who has over 18 years public relations consultancy experience, working for PR and marketing agencies in Sheffield and Manchester. After the birth of her daughter she decided to go freelance and now helps businesses in Yorkshire and around the UK with their PR, copywriting and social media needs. Sarah knows that running your own business can be demanding at times, but thinks that as long as you are flexible and have some good support systems in place, it's entirely possible to provide great service to clients and be a mum during the working week. Sarah is our South Yorkshire group leader.
