A couple of weeks ago I posted about the new look Mums the Boss and how things were going to change a bit round here. I know from what I have sen on Facebook that a couple of people have been put out by this and I am genuinely sorry to see you go, but at the end of the day I need an outlet for my personal blogging.

An honest review of my first two months as a Younique presenter – warts and all
This post was first written and published in January 2015. I have now substantially updated it in January 2016 and the updated bits are in blue. I took a break from Younique for several months while caring for my terminally ill mother, but now I am back and ready to start again.
If you have been anywhere near my social media feeds recently (or in fact if you have been anywhere near social media at all) you can hardly help but notice that Younique Cosmetics has launched its direct sales business in the UK.
Everywhere you look there are people taking selfies of their eyelashes, ranging from the pretty to the pretty extreme, and every facebook group is awash with people trying to tell you that Younique is the best thing ever and trying to get you to join their team. So is it the best thing ever? Or is it just another load of hype or some kind of scam?
So I have finally bitten the bullet and embraced the video blogging age.
And what better way to start off than with a review of my new favourite beauty product – Younique 3D fiber lash mascara.
I joined Younique because I loved the idea of the eye pigments (more on those later). I didn’t really expect to like the mascara because I wear glasses and most mascara makes my eyes itch and smudges my glasses.
But what a revelation. longer, thicker, waterproof lashes and no itches or smudges. I wear it nearly all the time now.
And so the majority of our children have gone off to their nurseries, schools and colleges and we are settling back into our routines again. For many of us, this means back to the same old thing, but for some there has been a transition – first or last child starting school or moving schools, and some of us will find ourselves with more free time on our hands.
This is the time of year when many mums think about taking up a part time business venture, to fill those extra hours. One of the most popular formats for working from home part time jobs is the party plan or Multi Level Marketing (MLM) opportunity.
