Giveaway Post – Win a Simba Hybrid Mattress Topper

Back at the end of January, the lovely folk from Simba, offered me an amazing Simba Hybrid Duvet to review.

At the time, I did think that this would make a fantastic giveaway and I do love being generous to my regular readers, but with the state of the duvet I had on my bed at the time, I decided that just for once I had to be selfish and keep the lovely item I was being asked to promote.

But now the people from Simba have been in touch with me again, and do I want to do a follow up? Yes, Indeed I Do!

Before I look at the mattress topper though, let’s just revisit the duvet. When I received it back in January, I instantly noticed an improvment in my sleep, and that has definitely continued. It was warm and cosy throughout the depths of Winter and into Spring. As the weather has got warmer this year, I have also noticed the cooling effect, thanks to the  Simba Stratos Temperature control technology.

As I’m writing this, it’s July, which is usually the warmest month of the year in the UK. In a normal year, I would have ditched the duvet altogether and just be sleeping under a cotton duvet cover. But this has been nothing like a normal year. I have had a couple of nights of going to bed with just the duvet cover, but with the full duvet on standby, and most nights I have woken in the middle of the night feeling cold, and had to snuggle under it. The Simba Mattress Topper adds a layer of memory foam and some micro-springs, to increase the comfort of any bed you may have to lie on. This would be a fabulous gift for any University Student you may have in your family that is going off to sleep in a rented room with no guarantee of a decent (or clean) mattress. I might have kept this for one of my two as well, but they both have what they need already.

The mattress toppers are 6.5cm deep and they have a removable washable cover.

Simba prides itself on sustainablility, the company is B Corp certified, and the website says:

We aim to use packaging which includes recycled materials (or materials from approved FSC sources) as much as possible, and we endeavour to use more sustainable materials and processes across our range, including Better Cotton  and recycled plastic bottle fibres.
