I posted a couple of days ago about enjoying a healthy breakfast – one of the new habits I am trying to build in September. This Rainbow Smoothie is one of my healthy breakfast options
I love a smoothie in the morning. I’ve got my trusty Nutribullet and I’m not afraid to use it!
I like to chuck a lot of stuff in, and don’t really mind if the result turns out sludge brown. It usually tastes delicious! So this morning I made a Rainbow smoothie for breakfast.
Red I started with Frozen strawberries

Orange – I chucked in some frozen melon and papaya

Yellow – frozen pineapple & a fresh banana for extra thickness and creaminess

Green – frozen spinach – fresh is better but I didn’t have any so these frozen nuggets are really handy (and cheap)

Blue – Fresh blueberries – I love blackberries or blackcurrants too.

Purple – fresh grapes – yummy!

Add some oats and some flax seed mix for protein, fibre and Omega 3s
Give it a quick whizz in the Nutribullet……

All the colours in one rainbow smoothie – nicely chilled and ready to drink because of all the frozen stuff!
