Introduction
Many of you will know if you follow me on social media, that I decided to start selling digital products on Mum’s the Boss this year, and doing a bit of preparation work on my neglected Instagram account, which i didn’t really know how to use.
I started working on this project in February 2024, but it did not go quite as well as planned, mainly due to me contracting whooping cough in March and being more sick than I’ve ever been in my life, for at least three months, followed by a series of family stresses that took more of my time and attention than I wanted. So the time to implement all of the amazing new things I have been learning this year, has simply not been there. But you can bet that I will be back in September, when the kids are gone back to uni, and I will start to practice what I am learning again.
So what have I learned about selling digital products?
This whole project started for me when I started to see lots of posts on Instagram, advertising faceless digital marketing. I was intrigued about this concept, as I am starting to look and feel a bit older than the clients I generally serve, and I wondered if I would do better if I retired my face from the internet. So I bought a few of the Faceless Digital Marketing books from the resellers and started by trying to sell some of those courses using the techniques set out in them.
If you read the other article I’ve linked to above, you will discover that the answer for me was a resounding no. I really do not need to go fully faceless right now and in fact showing my (old and wrinked) face works much better every time, even with no make up or filters. People still seem to like a dotty old lady ranting at the camera – I’m certainly a bit different to the average digital marketer. Sadly I discovered this at about the same time as I started coughing, and that very much stalled my progress.
The content in the Faceless books I bought was quite useful and valid, with a lot of very sensible and useful tips to selling digital products on Instagram and Social media. For me though, it wasn’t everything that I personally needed in order to launch a digital marketing business. I found the whole thing a bit overwhelming – creating the digital products, writing the sales pages, making the sales graphics, loading them up into a store and then promoting on social media. It’s a lot of new skills all at once, and once I started to get sick it rapidly became too much for me.
I’ve been blogging for over 14 years now, and I’m pretty technically savvy and good on social media, but what I really hate doing is selling. I have a real confidence block in that area, and if I’m honest, a serious case of imposter syndrome. I needed more than skills training – I needed an internal confidence boost.
I’ve seen a lot of posts since then on Instagram and also on Threads. I’m not alone in this feeling. There are a lot of people who have invested heavily in these digital marketing courses and are now finding it hard to implement what they have learned. There are clearly some pieces missing in these faceless courses, or maybe the fact that everyone is doing the same thing has led to the market becoming saturated.
I came across Angela at Firefly Life Coaching
While I was unwell and not posting so much on my own socials, I still carried on engaging with others, and somehow I came across Angela Bullock, an amazing Australian who runs Firefly Life Coaching.
She has developed a series of courses and bundles with Master Resell Rights, which are completely different to the courses in the digital marketing bundle that I bought earlier. For a start they are multimedia – incorporating books, journals, audio and video elements, and graphics templates. She has courses that are aimed at confidence building, believing in your own abilities, and finding your unique voice and place in the digital world. When you have worked through that, you are much better placed to move on to courses which are more about the practical stuff – the what, when and why of posting on social media and selling your stuff, while strutting your unique style.
Every single course that I have bought from her has taught me so much and been really useful – and if I wanted to, I could rebrand every single part of every single course and sell it as a Mum’s the Boss product. This may yet happen over the next few months and years, although there are so many juicy bits that it is hard to know where to start.
The graphics and visuals of each of these courses is stunning, but Angela also gives you an additional image pack with many of them, so you can add different visuals to your version to change the look a bit, and some of the courses also include full instructions as to how she created these stunning images using AI.
Selling Digital Products – Done for you Courses
I went on a bit of a binge buying Ang’s courses over the summer, so I still have quite a bit to work through before the full range of Mum’s the Boss products will appear. But in the meantime, I plan to make use of the other very handy feature that comes attached to many of Firefly courses. I can promote and sell these courses exactly as they are using an affiliate link.
If you buy any of these books and bundles below, I will receive the full sum of money that you paid for it. You will get the full Angela in all her glory, and get invited to her Facebook group and in-person coaching sessions. You will be able to use the course yourself straight away, rebrand it and resell if you want to, or simply sell it immediately as an Affiliate like I am doing now.
For me this is the ideal way for someone to get started with digital marketing. The sales pages and all the selling stuff is already written – all I (or you) have to do, is the promoting and social media side – sending people to the affiliate link.
This is a great way to start because you can learn the social media skills first, and then learn about the design, creation and selling of your own original stuff separately. This takes away my overwhelm – I know I can master all of the skills needed to make a success of this, I just can’t do it all at once .
So here are six courses from Ang and Firefly that I thoroughly recommend. There are plenty more on offer, but for me these ones have taken me on a much needed journey – from doing some inner work and focusing on myself and my pre-existing beliefs and blocks, to learning about creating new products, and then a whole lot of useful stuff around the selliing and promoting on social media skills, including a lot of useful prompts, captions, calls to action and plenty of cute visual templates.

If you don’t like the titles, the prices, or if some of the bits inside don’t resonate with you, then change them before you resell – it’s up to you.
